ClarkDietrich signs deal with Structa Wire
West Chester, Ohio-based ClarkDietrich, manufacturer of drywall studs and accessories for commercial and residential construction, has acquired 50 percent ownership interest in Structa Wire Corp., a manufacturer of welded wire products for the lath and plaster industry.
Based in Vancouver, BC, Structa Wire, was founded by Abe and Jeff Sacks more than 20 years ago. Today, the company designs and manufactures a comprehensive line of products developed to improve the performance of stucco for steel and wood-framed construction, including brands such as StructaLath, MegaLath and Structa Corner.
“We look forward to fully integrating Structa Wire’s high-performance products into our existing portfolio of solutions for stucco wall applications,” said Jim Collins, president of ClarkDietrich.
As part of the acquisition, the company will continue to be managed by Structa Wire employees.
ClarkDietrich has served as a strategic partner for Structa Wire since 2012 when the two companies announced a distribution agreement, in which ClarkDietrich provided full sales support and delivery of Structa Wire products to 40 states across the United States.
