CertainTeed enters Metal Roofing Market

CertainTeed’s new Presidio line of metal roofing products is engineered for durability and statement-making authenticity, with the appearance of slate, clay tile and wood shake, according to the Valley Forge, Pennsylvania-based company.

“For our first ever metal roofing collection, we knew we had to hit it out of the ballpark and ensure that wow-factor,” said Bob Gardiner, vice president of marketing for CertainTeed Roofing. “We’re confident that building professionals, contractors and homeowners alike will agree that Presidio is an innovative addition to CertainTeed’s product line that has been built on a tradition of enduring quality and backed by the strongest warranty in the industry.”

Each Presidio panel has overlaps that conceal the joints and create a seamless appearance. Available in colors such as English Toffee, Nutmeg, Smokey Sage, Speckled Bronze and Terra Cotta, Presidio Tile embodies the same Mediterranean magnetism of traditional clay, but weighs hundreds of pounds less, and at a fraction of the cost, CertainTeed says.

Presidio Shake is available in Ash, Sand Dune and Weathered Wood, are pre-weathered, aged and distressed to recreate the look of wood. And Midnight and Artisan colors of Presidio Slate showcase the natural beauty of stone in a lightweight, fully recyclable, energy-efficient material.
