CertainTeed celebrates ISO certified action

CertainTeed says roofing business has reached an important milestone: achieving International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001 certification at its Little Rock, Arkansas plant. 

ISO 9001 standards were created to help companies establish requirements to maintain and manage processes influencing quality.

“CertainTeed has made manufacturing quality roofing products a priority for more than 110 years. We continue this quality commitment by achieving ISO 9001 certification,” said Tim Ginsbach, plant manager at CertainTeed’s Little Rock roofing plant. “This is a reflection of the dedication and hard work of all our employees. It was clear that they treat this as much more than a question of compliance to a standard, but as a way to provide confidence in the products and services they deliver to our customers.”

To secure ISO 9001, the Little Rock plant demonstrated the ability to consistently manufacture roofing products that meet customer demand and applicable statutory and regulatory requirements.
