Central Valley recognized in North Bay

The North Bay Business Journal of Northern California has recognized pro dealer Central Valley as one of its “Best Places to Work in the North Bay.”

In a prepared statement, Central Valley said, “To maintain a great work environment and deliver the best service to our customers, Central Valley hires only those committed to its five behavioral beliefs: Growth, Ownership, Teamwork, Empathy and Impress. As a passionate and active participant in the community it serves, Central Valley pledges 2% of its profits to help build strong families and affordable housing. On top of a generous benefits package, all full-time and regular part-time employees can also give back to their community with up to 8 paid volunteer hours a year to approved organizations aligned with Central Valley's philanthropic focus.”

Central Valley was nominated by company employees through a third-party survey. This is the first time Central Valley has won the North Bay award.

This year marked the 14th time that the North Bay Business Journal of Northern California’s has recognized the best places to work in the region.

In addition to this latest award, Central Valley was also recognized as the 2019 “Best Company to Do Business With” in Napa County, Gold Medal, by readers of Northbay Biz magazine.

Based in Napa, Calif., Central Valley operates six locations in the region. Central Valley also operates yards in Fairfield and Vallejo, Calif. under the Foster Lumber banner after acquiring the company last year.
