Cameron Ashley expands in Oklahoma
Cameron Ashley Building Products has opened its latest distribution center in Tulsa, Okla. market.
The facility officially opened on Dec. 2 and is located in Broken Arrow, Okla. The new location will serve customers in the greater Tulsa market.
The 16,000-square-foot distribution center will also provide sales and inventory support for contractors with a focus on insulation and drywall.
“Expanding Cameron Ashley’s service area, this time in the Southeast, is a key part of our strategical outlook,” said Regional Vice President Aaron Davis. “With this distribution center, we’re putting an emphasis on the needs of contractors.”
“Being able to serve the Tulsa market with a dedicated distribution center is a major need for Cameron Ashley and our vendors,” said Distribution Center Manager, Bob DeCoteau.
On Dec. 2, Cameron Ashley also officially opened a new distribution facility in Kennesaw, Ga., which replaced its Atlanta location.
Based in Greenville, S.C., Cameron Ashley operates more than 34 distribution centers in 20 states, with a total storage footprint of more than 4.2 million square feet. The distributor serves over 5,000 customers in the lumber and building materials industry.
