The butler did it
David Youdovin, founder and CEO of Hire Society-- a boutique placement agency that staffs service professionals in private homes, executive offices, and luxury brands-- and a team of service and sustainability professionals, has launched Butlers Brand, a line of butler-tested household cleaning products made of non-toxic ingredients and sold in reusable packaging.
“I’ve been a butler for more than 20 years in some of the world’s most demanding households,” said Chris Allen, author of A Butler’s Life and owner of A Butler’s Manor Bed & Breakfast in Southampton. “Everybody wants a ‘green’ cleaner, but the problem is not all of them work, and the staff ends up using twice as much solution,” Allen said. “Butlers Brand is one of the only natural cleaning concentrates I use. I like the universal concentrated cleaner because it works the first time and reduces the amount of cleaners we purchase, thus minimizing the waste our household creates.”
Butlers Brand’s signature product, the Universal Concentrated Cleaning Solution, is an efficient natural cleaning concentrate developed, tested, and used by professional butlers. The natural multi-purpose cleaning recipe of butlers is now available to the public in a stylish and economical glass bottle (4oz., $10) to be used with Butlers Brand Reusable Aluminum atomizer (16oz., $6). Properly diluted, the natural cleaning concentrate can be used safely on all household surfaces, the company says.
So far, Butlers Brand products are sold online and locally in New York. Butlers Brand will launch a line of non-toxic cleaning products pH-specific to glass, metal, and common bathroom surfaces in the fall.
