Bosch promotes drill-driver upgrades
An integrated accleration sensor on the new Bosch DDS183 drill/driver and the HDS183 hammer drill/driver virtually stops rotation during bit bind-up situations, according to the Mt. Prospect, Illinois-based Bosch.
The system is called KickBack Control, and it's one of the features of the new tools.

Both tools feature an ergonomic grip zone and Bosch-exclusive Electronic Motor Protection and Electronic Cell Protection to protect the tool and batteries from overload and overheating, The Bosch Flexible Power System is one of the most versatile Lithium-ion battery platforms available, the company says.
