Boise Cascade embraces Boral TruExterior
Boise Cascade is expanding its exterior portfolio with the addition of Boral TruExterior Siding & Trim to its Milton, Fla., location.
The Pensacola-area facility, the first Boise Distribution Center to offer the poly-ash exterior siding and trim, enhances the availability of TruExterior Siding & Trim across the Gulf Coast region of Florida, Georgia, Alabama, and Mississippi, the company said.
Made with a proprietary poly-ash material, TruExterior Siding & Trim combines an authentic appearance with high-performance attributes that address the moisture- and movement-related issues commonly seen with other exterior materials.
The products are low maintenance, dimensionally stable and resistant to rot and termites.
“We were drawn to the high-performance characteristics that TruExterior products have to offer; it solves many of the problems that some traditional materials present,” said Guy Cerchione, division product manager for Boise Cascade. “That technology is something that’s changing the way people think about siding and trim, and we’re excited to be a part of it.”
TruExterior Siding includes a range of profiles, from new Bevel to authentic Shiplap and Nickel Gap to traditional V-Rustic and Channel Bevel. TruExterior Trim comes in several widths and thicknesses in 12-, 16- and 20-foot boards. The product line also features Beadboard, Skirt Board and other accessories like Rabbeted Trim.
