Board moves at Sherwin-Williams
Members of the Sherwin-Williams Board of Directors have elected Steven Wunning as Lead Director effective immediately.
Wunning is the retired group president of Caterpillar Inc. and has been a member of the Board since July 2015. He succeeds John Stropki as lead director who passed away unexpectedly on May 11.
Sproki was the former CEO of Lincoln Electric Holdings. He was elected to the board in Sherwin-Williams Board in 2009 and had served as lead director since April 2015.
Susan Kropf has been appointed as chair of the compensation and management development committee, succeeding Wunning who will continue to serve as a member of the committee.
Kropf is the retired president and COO of Avon Products, Inc. and has been a member of the Sherwin-Williams Board since February 2003.
This past April, Sherwin-Williams reported first quarter 2019 consolidated net sales of $4.04 billion, up just 1.9% from net sales of $3.96 billion for the same period last year.
