BlueTarp powers ahead with service
Portland, Maine-based BlueTarp Financial introduced BlueTarp Powered, a new service model of their existing credit management service.
With BlueTarp Powered, suppliers maintain their customer interactions as they do today, while BlueTarp stays behind the scenes. They also gain A/R tools to better manage their collections efforts. Like all BlueTarp customers, they get paid upfront for their sales and are protected from credit risk so they can fund the growth of their business.
“We call BlueTarp Powered our invisible credit management service, because suppliers remain the point of contact for customers while we help them grow their business from behind-the-scenes,” said Scott Simpson, CEO and president of BlueTarp. “We listened to what suppliers were asking for, and we are pleased to offer this answer to their needs.”
The A/R management tools help suppliers collect better and faster. They provide deeper insight into account aging and the ability to drill down into past due accounts. Suppliers can also create reminders and tasks to prioritize and improve collection workflow.
Suppliers can choose the BlueTarp Powered service model or BlueTarp Managed, which is a full-service option that includes collections and customer support. Suppliers of either option can select lines and terms for each customer -- up to $1 million and 90 days -- to help grow their sales.
