Behr "Paints the Town," literally

The City of Meadows Place, Texas, will receive special paint privileges from Behr Process Corp. through an unusual partnership and promotion.

Under the deal, Behr's products and colors will become the official paint standard for building exteriors in the one-square-mile city.

Through this partnership, Behr will be supporting the city's initiative to use Behr paint throughout its community by supplying exterior paint for 10 residential homes, paint and labor for three of those homes, and expert counsel on local contractors, among other painting resources.

The mayor of City of Meadows Place, Charles Jessup, made the link between quality paint and property values, and intends to create a "city ordinance specifying the color combinations listed in the Behr Exterior Color Card as the pre-approved standard for all homes within the city."
