Behr attempts to soothe the web

A social media trend around Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response, or ASMR, is generating millions of views on YouTube. ASMR videos have a soothing, therapeutic quality about them, as they demonstrate activities that are somehow pleasant to watch, if not addictive.
Case in point, the sights and sounds of painting.
Against this backdrop, Behr Paint released what it calls the first DIY-inspired ASMR videos.
“Seasoned DIYers will recognize the satisfying soundtrack of the painting process,” said Jodi Allen, chief marketing officer at Behr Paint Company. “The colors featured in this video were handpicked by Behr color experts to evoke a sense of peace and tranquility in any space.”
