Banner changes at U.S. Lumber
Building products distributor U.S. Lumber announced that as of Oct. 1, all Boston Cedar and NILCO locations will now be under the U.S. Lumber banner.
In a statement made via Linkedin, U.S. Lumber said, “When we came together with Boston Cedar in April 2016, we were sensitive to the brand that Boston Cedar had developed in the New England market since its founding in 1985. Over the past three-plus years, we have worked to make certain that the customers would not experience any negative changes with U.S. Lumber actively participating in the Boston business. The same philosophy has been applied to the NILCO operations since our involvement began two years ago.”
Atlanta-based U.S. Lumber acquired NILCO in September 2017. U.S. Lumber and Boston Cedar agreed to a merger in April 2016.
U.S. Lumber also said that there are no plans to change the Midwest Lumber Minnesota, Inc. or Alexandria Moulding brands
