AZEK moves to Chicago
Building products manufacturer The AZEK Company has moved to new digs that the company says are inspirational and an avenue for attracting new talent.
The company announced that it has established a new headquarters and training center in Chicago’s Fulton Market neighborhood.
AZEK said the move is part of its “commitment to growth and creating inspirational, sustainable building materials.”
Previously based in Skokie, Ill., AZEK’s new headquarters is one of only two units in the building that is LEED Certified, the company said.
AZEK now occupies the third floor of 1330 W. Fulton Market. The office building was developed by Sterling Bay, a real estate investment and development firm with expertise in design, construction, leasing, asset management and hospitality. The 20,000 square foot office features an open, functional design that is conducive to collaboration.
“We are thrilled to unveil the location of our new headquarters in Chicago,” said Jesse Singh, CEO of the AZEK Company. “We feel this location really speaks to who we are as a company – it’s modern while remaining accessible. It also gives us the opportunity to showcase our products in a unique light.”
“As we continue to grow, we are confident this new space will help us attract and retain Chicago’s top talent,” Singh added.
According to AZEK, the work space was inspired by the tranquility of great outdoor living with a “coastal calm” theme designed by Harley Ellis Devereaux – a Chicago-based architecture, design, and engineering firm.
“We’re not a decking company. We’re an imagination company,” said Jeanine Gaffke, Chief Marketing Office of The AZEK Company. “Every inch of our new office speaks to the design innovation we can deliver to homeowners.”
The new headquarters will also feature “The Yard” – an additional 2,200-square-foot training and event center. The space will make it easier for guests, including contractors, to receive hands-on installation training and comprehensive product education. The Yard is scheduled to open in late spring 2019, AZEK said.
AZEK includes 4 business units: AZEK Building Products, Versatex, Scranton Products, and Vycom.
