Apex Tool Group honored by True Value
Apex Tool Group (ATG) has been named True Value Company’s “Overall Supplier of the Year” for 2017.
True Value featured ATG and it’s account team in the company’s 2017 annual report, recognizing Apex with a full-color spread while citing the tool manufacturer’s innovation, global value, and quality.
This is the first time ATG earned this recognition from True Value, a customer since 1967. “Stellar quality and service are why we were chosen as True Value’s 2017 Overall Supplier of the Year for this 4,400-store hardware retailer,” said Kevin Keller, vice president of national retail and hardware accounts at ATG.
True Value’s annual report highlighted that “Innovation is key to relevance at ATG – and a strategic priority to drive growth. The company has ramped up investment in what it calls ‘product vitality’ to continuously improve even its most basic tool lines.”
“We truly appreciate the dedication of our associates on the True Value team,” said Pat O’Reilly, ATG director of hardware sales. “This award belongs to them, from operations and procurement to R&D, marketing and sales. They truly make the difference every day for this important customer.”
True Value executives recently visited Apex’s North Carolina offices to present the award.
