Andersen buys Arizona window and door manufacturer
Heritage Windows and Doors specializes in high-performance aluminum windows and doors that are resistant to desert climates.
Andersen Corp. has acquired Heritage Windows and Doors, a manufacturer of custom, high-quality aluminum windows and doors based in Gilbert, Ariz.
Heritage specializes in the luxury residential and commercial market, including high-performance aluminum windows and doors that are resistant to desert climates.
“The acquisition of Heritage expands Andersen’s product portfolio, increases our advanced manufacturing capabilities and extends our geographic reach,” said Jay Lund, Andersen Chairman and CEO. “We welcome all Heritage employees into the Andersen family and look forward to a bright future together.”
In a company statement, Andersen said the Heritage brand will complement Andersen’s Architectural Collection. The Heritage line includes sliding glass doors, multi-sliding doors, French doors, bi-folding doors and glass only stack and slide doors. Heritage’s window product offering includes architectural style, casement awning, horizontal slider and single hung.
Heritage was owned by Tascho Industries, Inc., a privately held company. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Based in Bayport, Minn., Andersen Corporation and its subsidiaries manufacture and market window and door products under the Andersen, Renewal by Andersen, Silver Line, American Craftsman, EMCO, Weiland and MQ brands.
