Andersen boost its logistical business
Andersen has announced that the company is assuming operations of the Consolidation Center in Menomonie, Wisconsin, from a third-party logistics provider. The center will become part of the Andersen Logistics network adding more than 300 jobs to the company’s ranks.
“Andersen has transformed our logistics business over the last 15 years,” said Sal Abbate, chief sales and marketing officer. “As our business grows, so does our commitment to our customers. This change brings us that much closer to them, which we see as an opportunity to enhance our anticipation and responsiveness to their needs.
“This change is the next logical step in logistics integration to meet and exceed the needs of our customers,” said Abbate. “To do that, it makes sense to directly own the entire process from manufacturing to customer delivery, and ensure that Menomonie delivers the state-of-the-art, best-in-class experience our customers should expect from Andersen.
The Menomonie consolidation center is the largest of the company’s 14 logistics locations. Andersen will assume operations on or around May 6.
