AMES adds new abrasive tools

AMES Taping Tools is expanding its product assortment to include new options in the drywall equipment aisle, including sanding sponges, discs and pre-cut sheets.

The new products are designed for sanding drywall and painted surfaces quickly and efficiently, the company said.

The new wedge, dual-angle and straight-angle sponges come in a variety of grits and combined-grit formats for scuffing and finishing applications.

Additionally, the discs (which come in a 9-inch size) are built to withstand tearing, using high-performance silicon carbide grain for a more effective cut.

The pre-cut sheets and rolls are made with heavy-duty paper and resin bonding for maximum grain adhesion.
