Acquisitions anyone? Foundation Building Materials takes two
Foundation Building Materials (FBM), the specialty distributor of wallboard, suspended ceiling systems, and mechanical insulation has expanded its presence in the Midwest with a pair of acquisitions.
The Tustin, Calif.-based company has acquired RM Supply, an independent distributor of wallboard, steel framing, insulation, and wallboard accessories. R M Supply operates two branches in Wentzville and Herculaneum, Mo.
FBM has also purchased ArmCom Distributing Company, a division of the St. Paul Linoleum and Carpet Company. ArmCom is an independent distributor of ceiling products and operates five branches in St. Louis Park and Rochester, Minn.; Fargo, N.D.; Sioux Falls, S.D.; and Omaha, Neb.
FBM said it expects the two acquired companies to bring in an estimated $27 million to $29 million in collective net sales for the remainder of fiscal year 2018.
Terms of the acquisitions were not disclosed.
