ABC Supply expands in Texas and Arizona

Roofing materials and building products distributor ABC Supply has opened new locations in Rosenberg, Texas and Avondale, Ariz.

Avondale is located roughly 30 miles southwest of Houston. Company veteran Adan Gonzalez will manage the location. Gonzalez began his career in the industry working for Bradco Supply in 2003.

Following ABC’s acquisition of Bradco, Gonzalez joined the company’s Austin location as a product manager before becoming the operations manager for the Century Plaza-Houston location—a position he has held for the past six years.

“We’re excited to bring the ABC Supply brand of superior service to contractors southwest of Houston,” said Jonathan Shepard, vice president of ABC Supply’s Southwest Region. “Adan and his team look forward to working with area contractors and providing them with easier access to the high-quality products and professional expertise they need to tackle their projects.”

Avondale is located about 27 miles west of Phoenix. ABC Supply said that Tyler Amick will manage the branch. Amick joined ABC Supply’s Glendale, Ariz. location in 2018 as a manager candidate in training after 16 years on the contracting side of the business.

During his training, ABC said that Amick gained valuable experience in all facets of the distribution industry, including delivery management and sales. In March, he graduated from ABC’s Branch Management Training program. 

With the addition of the Avondale branch, ABC Supply now has 12 locations throughout Arizona.

“Tyler and his team are eager to build relationships with contractors in the southwest valley,” said Matt Cooper, vice president of ABC Supply’s West Region. “With Tyler’s experience, I’m confident that area contractors will find our products and expertise second to none.”
