ABC Supply acquires two-unit dealer
ABC Supply, the Beloit, Wis.-based distributor of roofing and exterior building materials, has acquired Chesapeake Siding and Roofing, a wholesale distributor of exterior building products.
The two-unit dealer, with locations in Chesapeake, Va., and Jarvisburg, N.C., “fits our strategy of providing accessible locations in all major geographic markets,” said David Luck, CEO and president of ABC Supply, in a press release.
Later this year, both stores will be redesigned into “Solution Centers,” a showroom format that ABC Supply began rolling out through its entire network of stores in the fall of 2007.
ABC Supply is one of the industry’s largest wholesalers of roofing supplies, windows, doors, siding and other exterior building products, with 380 branches in 46 states. The company ranked fourth on Home Channel News’s Top 350 Pro Dealer Scoreboard in 2008, with sales of $2.6 billion.
