A proud employee statement about Hancock Lumber
Part of Hancock Lumber’s mission statement and culture is providing a great workplace setting for its employees.
In fact, the Casco, Maine-based pro dealer has been named a Best Place to Work in Maine (BPTW) for the 4th year in a row. More than 350 employees and family members recently joined together to attend a Portland Sea Dogs baseball game – the minor league Double-A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox.
Hancock is now preparing for the upcoming 2018 BPTW survey and Wendy Scribner, the dealer’s human resource director, described why the company is such a great place to work.
“There is so much longevity here with amazing people, and the new hires we bring on-board are equally as fantastic, bringing so much positivity, enthusiasm and a desire to grow with us,” Scribner says.
