84 Lumber ranked on Inc. 5000
84 Lumber has been named to the 2019 Inc. 5000 list for the first time in the company’s history.
Now in its 37th year, the list — distributed by Inc. magazine — ranks the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.
This year’s honorees were ranked according to percentage revenue growth between 2015 and 2018, with minimum revenues of $100,000 and $2 million required for 2015 and 2018.
84 Lumber achieved a 54% increase in revenue during that time period. The company is ranked 4927 on the latest list.
“Being named to the Inc. 5000 list is an incredible accomplishment for our company and associates,” said Maggie Hardy, president of 84 Lumber. “It’s further proof that all of the hard work we’ve done in recent years to expand our services, enhance our technology, and improve customer experience has really paid off. We’re truly better than ever, and I’m excited for what lies ahead.”

“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 have followed so many different paths to success,” said James Ledbetter, Inc.’s editor-in-chief. “There’s no single course you can follow or investment you can take that will guarantee this kind of spectacular growth. But what they have in common is persistence and seizing opportunities.”
This year’s honorees will be recognized at the annual Inc. 5000 event October 10-12 at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort and Spa in Phoenix, Arizona.
Since last October, 84 Lumber has also been named one of America’s largest private companies and one of America’s best large employers, both by Forbes.
Based in Eighty Four, Penn., 84 Lumber Company is the nation’s leading privately held supplier of building materials, manufactured components and industry-leading services for single- and multi-family residences and commercial buildings.
