Golden State Lumber has dropped the lumber. But not literally.
The California pro dealer has rebranded with a new logo for the purpose of giving Golden State Lumber and Golden State Window & Door Design a united brand logo that encompasses both sides of the business.
Now the company is just known as Golden State. The dealer is even retaining its goldenstatelumber.com website name.
“This might not be much of a change because many of you already refer to us as Golden State,” CEO Jessica Scerri said in a prepared statement posted on the company’s site.
“Through this brand unification, our logo will update but our focus will not,” the CEO said. “As always, we will continue to strive for customer-first enhancements in all parts of our business that best support you, our customers.”
Founded in 1954, Golden State operates yards in Concord, Newark, Brisbane, San Rafael, Santa Rosa and Stockton, Calif. Along with window and door showrooms in San Francisco, Santa Rosa and Berkeley.
“Our Golden State brand mark represents three generations of leadership and is widely recognizable throughout the Bay Area,” Scerri said. “Moving forward, the only difference will be when we are representing Golden State as a whole we will drop the word lumber and we will use this new logo.”
