Nation’s Best Holdings has named Jace Mattinson as the company’s new chief operating officer.

Mattison joined Nation’s Best as chief financial officer, bringing a wealth of expertise in private equity as well as substantial roles as CFO and division vice president at Higginbotham Brothers and US LBM.

Since his inception at Nation’s Best, Mattinson has embraced expanding spheres of responsibility, encompassing the oversight of fleet and safety, along with the management of the Nation’s Best IT department.

“In a short period of time, Jace has proven that he can tackle any problem, big or small, while managing with respect, dignity, and in perfect harmony with our company culture.”  said Chris Miller, president and CEO of Nation’s Best. “He is a natural born leader, with a phenomenal work ethic, and I couldn’t be more excited to have him collaborate with the already amazing operational management teams we have in place.”

Nation’s Best said Mattinson will collaborate closely with regional leadership to oversee the daily operations of all the company’s lumberyard, home center, and hardware store locations.

“I am truly honored and excited to take on this new role and challenge at Nation’s Best.” Mattinson said. “This opportunity will allow me to work even more closely with many of our amazing team members. Additionally, I look forward to working closer with many of our valued industry partners, vendors, and customers. I am grateful for the support and collaboration of our team, and I am excited to help lead our efforts in shaping a dynamic and prosperous future for our company and the industry as a whole.”

Based in Dallas, Texas, and founded in 2019, Nation’s Best owns and operates 51 locations in 15 states with over 1,150 associates.
