The National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) continues to keep an eye on affairs in Washington, including congressional races in the upcoming election.
In the latest Housing Developments podcast, NAHB CEO Jerry Howard and Chief Lobbyist Jim Tobin discuss a busy week of meeting with President Trump’s Administration on a variety of topics, including the lumber issue and affordable housing development.
The co-hosts also address the passing of Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, and the impact of the upcoming confirmation hearings for the president’s nominee, Judge Amy Coney Barrett, on the November elections.
NAHB Chairman Chuck Fowke has also provided the latest information about NAHB efforts, including advocacy, in his October monthly member update video.
Last month the NAHB held a virtual meeting with Commerce Secretary Wilbur Ross and discussed high lumber prices along with the need to increase supplies.
