Nabors Amory Home Center cuts ribbon

Do it Best independent home improvement store owner Lee Nabors reported that he held a grand opening Sat., Nov. 13, for his new Nabors Amory Home Center in Amory, Miss.

“We’ve been excited about the opportunity to bring the Nabors Do it Best Home Center experiences to Amory,” said Nabors.

“We didn’t know if we we’re going to be able to pull it off,” he said when reached by phone this morning describing the event. “But it all came together, every little detail, thanks to our great team.”

With his wife Millette at his side and surrounded by his team, Nabors cut through the ceremonial ribbon to signify the opening of his newest location. The grand opening weekend included store specials and giveaways, food and entertainment.

“For nearly 60 years, we’ve built our family business on providing the communities we serve with our unique combination of product, price and service, and it’s been foundational to our continued growth and success,” Nabors added.

Following his acquisition of C & D Lumber in 2020, Nabors spent much of this year transitioning the store to their brand, he noted, adding approximately 6,500 square feet of retail space, as well as renovating the lumberyard and store interior.

Nabors Do it Best Home Center operates locations in Ackerman, Amory, Europa and Houston, Miss.
