More Texas expansion for ABC Supply

Building products distributor ABC Supply announced that it has opened its latest location in Lufkin, Texas.

The move follows last month’s opening of a new branch in Baytown, Texas. ABC operates over 40 locations in the state.

Carver James, who joined ABC Supply in 2017, has been named manager of the Lufkin store. James began his ABC career as a warehouse associate in Champaign, Ill. before transferring to the company’s O’Fallon, Mo. branch in 2019. 

In 2019, James was also promoted to inside sales and accepted a position at ABC’s Garland, Texas branch in 2020.

“We’re excited to expand our presence in East Texas with the opening of our Lufkin location,” said Southwest Region Vice President Jonathan Shepard. “Carver will lead his team in providing contractors with the products and support they need to achieve their business goals.”

Based in Beloit, Wis., ABC operates more than 800 locations and is one of the largest U.S.distributors of roofing along with exterior and interior building products. 

The company’s L&W Supply subsidiary recently opened new branches in Cleveland, Ohio and New Castle, Del.
