ACRE siding and trim from Modern Mill.
Modern Mill, the manufacturer of wood substitute ACRE, announced that it has partnered with Coastal Forest Products.
The move expands the distribution of Modern Mill products in New England, eastern New York, Long Island, and northern New Jersey while allowing the company to reach new customers.
Coastal Forest Products will carry ACRE siding and trim products, according to Modern Mill.
ACRE is made from upcycled rice hulls and is virtually indistinguishable from wood, providing a practical solution for deforestation without sacrificing the aesthetics of natural wood or the conveniences of composites.
“We’re pleased to partner with Modern Mill to offer their high-performance ACRE siding and trim products to our distribution network,” said Kevin Brennan, vice president of sales and marketing at Coastal Forest Products. “Our customers expect only the best from Coastal and we see great potential for this exciting new product line, especially when combined with our in-house finishing capabilities. We look forward to a long-term and successful relationship with Modern Mill.”
Modern Mill's circular manufacturing process ensures zero-waste and contributes to the preservation of rainforests and other natural resources.
"We're excited to partner with Coastal Forest Products," said Kim Guimond, chief marketing officer at Modern Mill. "We're committed to creating products that are sustainable, durable, and beautiful, and partnerships with distributors like Coastal Forest Products will help us achieve our goal of making ACRE the go-to wood alternative for builders and homeowners everywhere."
