MITER Brands sells off window brand

MITER Brands, a provider of windows and doors, has shared the divestiture of its subsidiary, ECO Window Systems, to its original founders. According to MITER, the divestiture reflects the commitment of the company to "streamline its business operations and concentrate resources on its core distribution channels and product brands." 

The company also says the move will enable MITER Brands to enhance its market position, drive innovation and support its vision to build the most valued window and door brand in America.

“Our top priority since acquiring PGT Innovations has been to create consistent and best-in-class customer experiences across the nation,” said Ali Zahrieh, senior Vvce president of strategy and M&A with MITER Brands. "This transaction allows MITER Brands to focus on our core distribution channels and go-to-market strategy while ensuring that ECO Window Systems operates under experienced ownership."
