The Metabo reciprocating saw is 20% more compact than its predecessor model to get into hard-to-reach areas on the jobsite.
Metabo HPT, announced its 18V MultiVolt compact reciprocating saw, model CR18DMAQ4, for the remodeler, plumber, electrician, framer and DIYer working in confined spaces.
This saw delivers what the company called, “big time cutting power with its 1-⅛-inch stroke and 3,000 max SPMs for top of class cutting speed through wood, PVC, and metal.”
Vibration is minimal with its exclusive User Vibration Protection (UVP) counterbalance technology, and the firm said it is part of its expanding MultiVolt system of 18V and 36V power tools.
“As an 18V bare tool, the user can decide to go lighter by using a compact 18V battery or go longer with the flexible 18V/36V MultiVolt battery to double the runtime per charge for more power on the go,” said the company.
Also being 22% lighter at only 4.63 pounds makes it easier to use and maneuver – especially in overhead applications.
Besides pro level cutting performance, it can achieve up to 125 2x8 cuts per charge, said the firm, and the brushless motor technology allows for longer run time per charge, less maintenance and increased durability.
