Metabo HPT 36V Cordless Nailers
Metabo HPT is introducing the newest additions to its cordless nailer lineup with the 36V MultiVolt Cordless, 3-1/2” 21° Framing Nailer (model NR3690DR) and 3-1/2” 30° Framing Nailer (model NR3690DC).
The brushless nailers are engineered to deliver a driving speed of 3 nails per second with zero ramp time to increase productivity.
Both 36V cordless nailers easily drive 900 nails per charge (or up to 1,200 nails per charge with the available 4.0Ah MultiVolt battery) while delivering the “feel” of pneumatic nailers - thanks to Metabo HPT’s unique Air Spring Drive technology.
As part of the expanding MultiVolt System of power tools from Metabo HPT they accept any MultiVolt battery for extreme power and runtime AND accepts the unique AC Adapter (model ET36A) to plug in for all day runtime offering ultimate versatility and extending battery life.
Backed by Metabo HPT’s Lifetime Lithium-Ion tool body warranty and two-year Lithium-Ion battery warranty there’s the ultimate peace of mind.
The cordless nailers can drive up to 3-1/2” round head or clipped head fasteners ranging from .113” - .131” in diameter at 21° and 30°. The tool-less depth of drive adjustment adds convenience to quickly change to flush drive or countersink into varying material.
The brushless motors deliver more runtime and extended durability with essentially no maintenance. With zero ramp-up time, there is no waiting for the tool to warm up – simply turn on the tool on the simplified control panel, and you’re ready to go. For increased user safety, this tool features a pivoting belt hook, a side-lock switch to prevent accidental firing, and dry-fire lockout to prevents accidental dry-fire.
A long-lasting non-slip rubber grip helps maintain superior control and comfort during use. The included 2.5Ah MultiVolt battery features a convenient battery charge indicator light and provides impressive power and runtime, allowing the user to work all day on just a single charge.
The rear loading magazine is designed for quick nail strip replenishments. The 21° cordless framer has the capacity to accept 37 plastic strip nails at a time. The 30° cordless framer has the capacity to accept 47 clipped head paper tape collated nails at a time.
Additionally, all 36V MultiVolt cordless tools from Metabo HPT have the ability to be converted to corded use with the AC adapter (model ET36A - sold separately). Users can conveniently get the functionality of two tools (cordless and corded) in one. Use the NR3690DR and NR3690DC cordless; however, if the battery needs to be recharged and you have no spares ready, just plug in with the AC adapter and keep going.
