Meet the 2022 STIHL Hardware All Stars: Ore., Pa., R.I.
Here are the next three in the latest class of STIHL 2022 Hardware Store All Stars that represent community-oriented, customer-focused, high-performance hardware-and-building-supply retailing at its finest. From each of the 50 United States, HBSDealer recognized an All-Star performer.
You can read about all 50 honorees here in the digital issue of HBSDealer. Additionally, HBSDealer.com will highlight a handful of honorees one batch at a time. Three 2022 high performers from Oregon, Pennsylvania and Rhode Island are featured below.
Oregon
With more than 15 locations in Oregon and Idaho, D&B Supply offers a wide selection of quality products to farmers, ranchers, and homeowners. Founded in 1959 in Caldwell, Idaho, each store is stocked to serve those who live and work in the West, the dealer said. Customers include tradesmen, pet owners, gardeners, rodeo goers, and homemakers. D&B said it sets itself apart by the high level of hands-on knowledge and expertise its employees bring to their day-to-day interactions.
Pennsylvania
Nitterhouse Masonry and Hardware Supply is dedicated to the tradition and craftsmanship of the trade industries. The Chambersburg company started serving its community of homeowners, builders, and craftsmen in 1923 by manufacturing concrete products. Today their product selection spans paving stones and architectural masonry blocks. They said, “we are an Elite STIHL dealer and repair center, and authorized dealers for Milwaukee Tool and Napoleon grills.”
Rhode Island
With roots that trace back to a small wood lot established in 1911, Arnold Lumber in 1952 built its first lumber shed on Fairgrounds Road in West Kingston. Since then, the company has expanded to multiple locations in the state, including its kitchen design center in Wakefield. The company also operates what’s known as “The Branch” in Wakefield. At this location customers will find an all-star selection of lumber, hardware, electrical, plumbing, paints, seasonal products and cabinetry.
