Mead Lumber names new CEO

Dave Anderson has been named  President and CEO of Mead Lumber.

Anderson was named president of Mead Lumber on July 1 and will become CEO, effective Dec. 1. He has been a director at the company since 2017.

He succeeds Craig Bradshaw who has been Mead Lumber’s President and CEO for the past 14 years.  Bradshaw will continue to serve the company as a member of its board of directors.

Anderson was previously the vice president, treasurer, and CFO of Millard Lumber for 16 years. 

Prior to joining Mead, Anderson served as vice president, treasurer, and chief accounting officer at Blue Shield of Nebraska. He has also served on the Millard Public Schools Board of Education for 14 years in addition to other boards in the greater Omaha area.

Based in Columbus, Neb., Mead Lumber is comprised of 43 locations across 8 great plains states including full-service lumber yards, retail locations, and truss, wall panel, and countertop manufacturing plants.

The company was recognized as the 2019 ProDealer of the Year by HBSDealer and the National Lumber and Building Material Dealers Association.
