McCoy's promotes Elmore to regional manager

McCoy’s Building Supply has promoted Corey Elmore to regional manager. 

Elmore joins the company’s team of eight regional managers and one area manager. He will oversee eight stores in south-central Texas.

Elmore, a native of Trinity, Texas, started his career with McCoy’s nearly 12 years ago after graduating from Sam Houston State University. 

His first role was as part of the company’s Management Development Program which helped to hone his customer-centered approach to the building supply industry. Elmore was assistant manager at two stores before being promoted to store manager. 

Most recently, Elmore was a store manager in New Braunfels, Texas, leading that team for the past five years. 

“I’m excited to continue to work in one of the fastest-growing areas in Texas helping our team grow as we serve our customers,” said Elmore. 

Ron Van Winkle, McCoy’s vice president of operations added, “I’m so excited for Corey to take on this new role. He has done a tremendous job growing the business in New Braunfels and leading his team. His desire to serve others is strong and I know he will be a great mentor for our stores.”

Based in San Marcos, Texas, McCoy’s Building Supply employs 3,000 people and operates 89 stores, three distribution facilities, and two millwork facilities in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Mississippi, and New Mexico.
