MaterialsXchange names new director of sales
MaterialsXchange (MX), the Chicago-based B2B E-commerce platform for lumber and wood products, has expanded its sales team by adding industry veteran Dave Gaudreau to its organization.
Gaudreau will serve in a sales capacity as director, the company said.
He has more than 30 years of experience, holding roles in sales and business development, with over 20 of those years as vice president of business development and national accounts for Sherwood Lumber.
“Dave and I worked together at Sherwood,” said Ashley Boeckholt, CRO and co-founder of MX. “He is a hard-working, go-getter which is exactly what we need on our team. As a young technology business in a non-technical industry, we need a fighter with vast lumber knowledge. Dave is a highly intelligent leader who knows how to get the job done. MX said that Gaudreau is jumping into his role at the company headfirst. He also said that he sees the digital transformation for building materials as a great advancement and is eager to link his deep-rooted customer base with MX’s new technology.
