Mastergrain acquires Fibercraft Door Company
Mastergrain, a Canadian manufacturer of premium fiberglass exterior doors and components, has acquired Ontario-based Fibercraft Door Company. The move aims to bolster Mastergrain objective to lead the premium and luxury fiberglass door segment by integrating Fibercraft's noted craftsmanship—especially in large-format fiberglass pivot door systems.
According to Mastergrain, the acquisition will result in more choices for homeowners, builders, architects and designers across North America.
"We are thrilled to welcome Fibercraft into the Mastergrain family. This partnership enhances our manufacturing capabilities and instantly broadens our product offerings. Together, we will continue to develop and deliver doors with unparalleled quality and innovation to our customers," says Chris Edwards, president of Mastergrain.
Bruce Schaus, president of Fibercraft, expands on the benefits of the partnership: "Joining forces with Mastergrain opens new markets for Fibercraft's products and accelerates our growth strategy. With Mastergrain’s support, we will innovate faster and more effectively, bringing our advanced fiberglass door systems to a broader North American market."
The strategic partnership between Mastergraiin and Fibercraft is positioned to make waves within the building products industry—and possibly drive more adoption of fiberglass entry door systems as an alternative to metal, wood or vinyl.
