The post-Christmas week edition of the Quikrete Industry Dashboard showed little change after a quiet week in housing news as single-family starts are up for the month, and way up for the year.

Total starts are trending positive, running at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of 938,000 – the second-highest figure of the year.

Existing home sales in November slipped 1.7% from October, but are up 2.7% from November of 2019.

The last big housing report to be released this calendar year – pending home sales for November 2019 - will be released by the National Association of Realtors on Dec. 30.
