Management promotions at L&W Supply

L&W Supply announced that Zach Grubb has been promoted to branch manager of the building product distributor’s Winston-Salem, N.C. location, and Kenneth Forbes has been named branch manager of the Saginaw, Mich. location.

Grubb started his career at L&W Supply in 2006 as an inside sales representative in Charlotte. He has since held multiple roles, including inside sales dispatcher, delivery services manager, and outside sales associate. 

He also received multiple customer satisfaction awards during his time at the Evans, Ga., location. In 2021, Grubb graduated from the company’s Branch Management Training program.

“Zach inspires others with his dedication and clear leadership skills,” said Dan Hinkle, L&W Supply’s Triangle Triad district manager. “As branch manager, Zach will motivate his team and ensure that we provide exceptional products and support to contractors in the Winston-Salem area.”

Forbes started his career at L&W Supply in 2002 as a delivery associate. The new branch manager has since held several positions within the company, including inside sales and, most recently, delivery service manager at the Saginaw branch. Forbes is also a recent graduate of the Branch Management Training Program.

“Ken has been instrumental in changing the culture at the branch and developing a strong team atmosphere with a dedicated focus on providing the best customer service,” said L&W Supply’s Great Lakes District Manager, Tracy Hein. “I am excited to see Ken and his team support Saginaw-area contractors, ensuring they have the tools and materials they need to be successful.”

Both new branch managers will be responsible for managing daily branch operations, cultivating customer relationships, guiding associates, and executing branch growth and profitability, L&W said.

Based in Chicago, L&W Supply operates over 200 branches in 40 states. L&W Supply’s parent company, ABC Supply, operates more than 840 locations nationwide
