Makita portable 40V max XGT microwave is ideal for any jobsite or outdoors. It features two power output levels at 350 watts and 500 watts.
Makita U.S.A., Inc., has released the 40V max XGT cordless microwave (model MW001GZ, microwave only) for jobsites or outdoor activities.
“This compact microwave is an exceptional enhancement for all work settings, delivering the luxury of a warm meal in any environment, and is an important part of the expansion to the Makita 40V max XGT lineup,” said Tyler Brown, associate product manager for lifestyle and expansion, Makita U.S.A. Inc.
Ideal for transportation with a built-in carrying handle and space-saving design at 1.5 cubic feet, it features a durable water-resistant design, dust-resistant inlet port, and tempered glass door.
It’s powered by one 40V max XGT battery, said the firm, but features a two-battery bay with auto switching: When the first battery is depleted it automatically switches to the second battery for longer run time.
There is a rotary knob that controls heating times which can be preset in 10-second increments up to 20 minutes.
L.E.D. display panel shows the heating time display and battery fuel gauge. It also features a built-in USB port for charging portable electronic devices.
“Hot food is a well-appreciated addition to any job site, and this new microwave gives users the added benefit of recharging batteries on the go,” said Brown.
