Makita autumnal yard cleaner

Versatile outdoor device switches between a blower, a vacuum and a mulcher.

Mulch leaves – or blow them away – with the Makita U.S.A., Inc., 18V LXT brushless blower and vacuum mulcher (XBU07).

“This versatile 3-in-1 device offers users the choice between a blower, vacuum, and a mulcher. The vacuum and mulching capabilities work in tandem to first collect, then shred the collected garden waste into a fine mulch for reuse in your garden or for easy disposal,” said Tyler Brown, associate product manager for lifestyle and expansion for Makita.

The XBU07 easily converts from blower to vacuum and mulcher. It features precision suction power designed for fallen leaf cleanup without altering stone and rock settings in plant beds.

The Makita-built brushless motor delivers up to 148 CFM and 143 MPH of blowing force and delivers up to 215 CFM and 13 inches water lift of suction power.

The product features a cruise control lever with a variable speed trigger for power and run time management.

There are removable wheels for better maneuverability in a variety of terrain, or for using next to an obstacle like a flower bed or a wall.
