The Backpack Vac, said Nicole Tougas, product manager, outdoor power equipment, “gives users a portable cleaning solution that eliminates the hassles of cords.”
Makita has released the 40V Max XGT six quart HEPA filter dry backpack vacuum.
The Backpack Vac, as it is referred to, is an ideal solution, said the firm, “that allows users to navigate obstacles while overhead cleaning and cleaning in limited spaces.”
The backpack comes with padded shoulder straps and waist belt with multiple adjustments for improved fit and comfort.
Weighing in at 16.9 pounds, including the battery, it features over two times more suction power with 85 CFM and 80-inch water lift, when compared to the Makita LXT model XCV17, said the company.
This vacuum has an efficient two stage HEPA filtration system that captures 99.97% of particulates .3 microns and larger. For longer run time, the vacuum features an auto-switching two-bay battery system.
The backpack vacuum features four-speed power selection for power level choices and run time management, and it runs on one 40V max XGT battery.
An L.E.D. light on the controller illuminates the work area; and a stopper prevents the cover from closing without the dust bag installed.
