Daymond John, star of ABC’s reality series “Shark Tank” will host the Nov. 1 final pitch for the "Making It...With Lowe's" program.

Consumer voting has begun for Making It…With Lowe’s, Lowe’s nationwide pitch program for diverse small business owners, back for its second year.

This program gives owners the chance to sell their products at Lowe’s and receive mentorship from executives, the company said.

Consumers can get involved, Lowe’s explained, by voting for their favorite entrepreneur at MIWLFanFavorite.com.

When consumers click on the above link, they are taken to a voting page where 14 products and accompanying photos of each entry can be viewed. Some of these finalists include: Learning Blankets; Sea Salt Soy Candle; FreshPaper Food Save Sheets, and more.

Voting then involves the consumer entering their email and address. Casting a vote automatically gives the voter a chance to win a $2,000 gift card from Lowe’s.

Panelists will listen to product pitches on Nov. 1 and pick an overall winner for this year's "Making It...With Lowe's."

The leading vote-getter, Lowe’s related, will earn a $5,000 grant and secure one of five spots in the program’s pitch to Lowe’s executives on November 1.

Voting is open now through October 15.

Joining host John are panelists representing Lowe’s: Marvin Ellison, president and CEO; Marisa Thalberg, exec. vp, brand & marketing; Joe McFarland, exec. vp, store operations; Janice Dupre Little, exec. vp, Human Resources; and Bill Boltz, exec. vp, Merchandising.

This is the second year of this pitch opportunity from the retailer.

Lowe’s said it is bringing back “Making It…With Lowe’s” at a time when it’s needed most.
