L&W Supply expands in Florida

L&W Supply Corporation has acquired the assets of Coastal Building Materials in Cape Coral, Fla.

The acquisition gives L&W Supply a second location in the market and its 14th branch in Florida. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Founded in 1978, Cape Coral provides drywall, acoustical ceilings, insulation, and related building products.

 “We are excited to welcome the Coastal Building Materials associates to the L&W Supply family,” said Time Mahaffey, vice president of L&W Supply’s Southeast Region. “We look forward to continuing to support their contractor customers while providing additional product offerings and services to help their businesses grow.”

Based in Chicago, L&W Supply operates 178 locations in 35 states with a focus on distributing wallboard, suspended ceiling systems, steel studs, joint treatment, insulation, fasteners, and related building materials. L&W Supply is a subsidiary of ABC Supply.
