William Cho named president of LG Electronics USA
William Cho has been named president of LG Electronics USA, succeeding Wayne Park, who is moving on to a new role as global sales & marketing officer for LG Electronics.
In his new position, Cho will oversee all U.S. business units as well as the LG Electronics USA Home Entertainment business. Previously, this segment was under Jay Vandenbree, who is retiring at the end of this year.
Cho has been with the company for 26 years, most recently as a senior executive overseeing the global residential air conditioning business. He has also served as president of LG Australia and president of LG Canada.
Since joining the company in 1987, he has also held various key sales roles in the United States.
