USG honors figure skating coach

2/20/2018

At the inaugural Best of U.S. awards ceremony in Washington, D.C., Kori Ade, coach of U.S. Olympic figure skater Jason Brown, was honored with the USG Building Dreams award.

Ade had been Brown's coach for 14 years -- the only one he's ever had -- and has never missed a performance. She's seen him through 14 international trips and many junior, national and international wins. She also moved her family to help meet his training requirements.

“We are proud to be associated with the USG Building Dreams award and to see Kori Ade honored for her exceptional contributions to Jason’s career,” said USG chairman, president and CEO James S. Metcalf. “Recognizing those who work behind the scenes to ensure another’s success resonates with USG. We are committed to helping individuals and communities achieve their goals and build their dreams.”

USG Corporation is a sponsor of the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Teams and the Canadian Olympic Team. It created the USG Building Dreams award to recognize a person, team or community who helped an athlete achieve greatness.
