Two locations become one for Parr Lumber

2/20/2018

Parr Lumber has merged its two Spokane locations, and it's celebrating the move with a grand reopening event on Friday, June 23.

“We would like to invite homeowners and contractors to see the facility, meet the team, and enjoy a free BBQ lunch,” said Nancy Cranston, Parr Lumber’s Marketing Manager. “Merging the two locations, allowed us to bring our team together under one roof. Working together we’re able to streamline our operational efficiencies and improve the overall customer experience.”

The original Parr Lumber location in Spokane was located at 3020 N. Flora Rd. and was officially closed on June 7, 2017. In November of 2016, Parr Lumber purchased Country Home Building Supply, which is now the home of their flagship store located at 4111 East Francis Avenue.

Parr Lumber went ahead with interior and exterior renovations to accommodate the extra employees and inventory at Francis Ave. This included the addition of exterior safety lights, additional racking, and an exterior paint refresh, along with new signage. For the interior, additional contractor sales cubicles and office spaces were added to accommodate the growing team, as well as new floors and fresh paint.

Headquartered in Hillsboro, Oregon, Parr operates 32 facilities and cabinet design centers in the U.S.
