TW Perry shows off new store

Pro-sales lumber and building materials dealer TW Perry has opened the doors to its newly expanded Springfield store and office space, which now boasts a new showroom. The Springfield location is now more than double the size of the original, with the office space moved up to a new second floor, complete with a conference room for meetings. The 3,800-sq-.ft showroom features a range of windows, doors, moulding profiles, decking and architectural millwork on display from the TW Perry custom millshop.

Pro-sales lumber and building materials dealer TW Perry has opened the doors to its newly expanded Springfield store and office space, which now boasts a new showroom.

The Springfield location is now more than double the size of the original, with the office space moved up to a new second floor, complete with a conference room for meetings.

The 3,800-sq-.ft showroom features a range of windows, doors, moulding profiles, decking and architectural millwork on display from the TW Perry custom millshop.

The remodel marks a departure for the location, which was originally built for previous owner W.T. Galliher & Bro., Inc. It was acquired by TW Perry in 2000.

"When established in the early 80's, the Springfield location was set up for a different customer base than what we enjoy today," said VP materials management Mike Moore. "This remodel was necessary as we look to become the surrounding area's local hardware store and building material supplier and meet the needs of our customers today."

A Grand Re-Opening Celebration, including prize giveaways, took place, Friday, Oct. 17.

TW Perry was the 2011 HCN Pro Dealer of the Year.
