SCMA elects 2018 officers
Members of the Southern Cypress Manufacturers Association elected officers for 2018 at the association’s recent annual meeting in Greenville, S.C.
Mark Tuck of Gates Milling (Gatesville, N.C.) was elected president. With nearly three decades in the wood products industry, Tuck currently serves as president of Gates Milling.
Tripp Josey of Josey Lumber Co. (Scotland Neck, N.C.) was elected VP. Josey joined the company in 2002, following his graduation from North Carolina State University. He currently serves as VP of Josey Lumber Co.
The Southern Cypress Manufacturers Association is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the promotion of cypress building products to trade professionals and consumers. Membership in the SCMA is limited to companies engaged in the manufacture of cypress solid wood products and veneers as well as those in the business of further processing and distributing these products, with the intent to sell.
