Results of an HBSDealer poll question reveal that lumberyard owners believe unfounded lawsuits are an area most in need of legislative reform.


More than half – 58% -- of readers said they would emphasize “protection from unfounded lawsuits” with a visiting legislator.

The NLBMDA is encouraging dealers to invite legislators to tour the yard. Which key issue would you emphasize most?


• Protection from unfounded lawsuits: 58%


• EPA Lead Rule reform: 12%


• Online sales tax fairness: 19%


• Other: 10%.
